vember 13, H.E. Mr. Georgi Vassilev, Ambassador Extraordinary and plenipotentiary at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Japan visited Maebashi Kyoai Gakuen College to attend a tree planting ceremony and a public lecture. The tree planting ceremony and the public lecture were held to celebrate the conclusion of the Agreement of Academic Exchange between Maebashi Kyoai Gakuen College and The St. Cyril and St. Methodius Universit
y of Veliko Turnovo. Ambassador Vassilev, Mr. Ryu Yamamoto the Mayor of Maebashi city and representatives of Maebashi Kyoai Gakuen College planted rose trees which were gifted by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria. Ambassador Vassilev delivered a public lecture on the history and culture of Bulgaria in the afternoon. The lecture room was filled with students and visitors.
